e3 Partners Ministry Vision-Mission-Strategy Statement

Purpose:

To glorify God by lifting up Jesus and establishing His church among all nations.

Vision:

To see a church accessible to every person on earth.

Mission:

To Equip God’s people to Evangelize His world by Establishing healthy multiplying transformitive churches everywhere!

Strategy:

Equip and mobilize the church to establish biblically healthy multiplying transformational churches to the 4th generation and beyond among all people groups everywhere, using training, teams and tools, in fellowship with partners who go, give or pray.

Strategy Footnotes:

Equip is specific in our case. E3 exists to equip and mobilize God’s people and mobilize them in Evangelism, Discipleship, Church Planting Movements.

The church is inclusive of churches, denominations, associations, networks, agencies and individuals. It also includes our field partners with whom we serve and for whom we exist.

Establish is used to denote more than mere planting, though this is the 1st step. We envision assisting churches to be firmly established in the Word and work of Christ. This leads to empowerment to grow and multiply spiritually and to have a transformational impact upon the lives, families and communities they touch.

Healthy denotes the aim of achieving mature churches that function according to biblical prescriptions with biblically qualified and trained leaders.

Multiplying and 4th Generation (4G) defines the primary outcome of e3 Partners. Seeing churches multiplying to the 4th generation and beyond as evidence of a Church Planting Movement.
A Church Planting Movement (CPM) is defined as a rapid multiplication of indigenous churches planting churches that sweeps through a people group or population segment. Multiplication also involves a prayer movement, mobilization ministries and the cultivation of financial partners.

Transformative denotes the spiritual transformation of people evidenced by visible, tangible results of new attitudes, translated into behaviours of holiness and love. Thus, through loving “your neighbor” and living individually and corporately as salt and light, the church will have a transformative effect on the community they serve.

All people, everywhere emphasizes our specific and global intentions. We give attention to- though not exclusively- specific unreached people groups among the least reached peoples of the world. “Everywhere” today means that opportunity exists and attention must be given to the great global cities of the world, as well as remote rural areas, where the masses of least reached and unreached people increasingly reside.

Training, teams and tools describes the tactical elements of our strategy. Training in specific categories is one major facet of our field ministry. Training has always been apart of our work, but it has emerged as a primary leading element of e3 field ministry. Teams of trainers and voluntary short-term missionaries remain a central feature of e3 Partners. We value “going” and mobilization remains as important part of our church-planting.
e3 is a leading innovator of new tools and implementer of methodologies pioneered by others. We are married to the mission, not a methodology. The training, teams and tools will evolve over time and apply differently place to place, but the vision, mission and core strategy elements do not change.

Go, give and pray describes the way in which we serve senders, stewards and those that pray to engage strategically and significantly in the Great Commission. It describes the categories of Partners we seek. We seek these partners in order to serve the churches and field partners for whom we exist!

Who Am I?

I grew up in a Southern Baptist home.  My Mom is a daughter of a Southern Baptist Preacher. My Uncle is a retired Southern Baptist Minister. My loving Mother and Aunt instilled in me the precepts that I live by today. I believe a steady church relationship, hearing about God and his people plus the redeemer, Jesus Christ, led to a tugging at my heart that it was time to invite the Lord into my life. I wanted to know Jesus more closely and I wanted to know that I could meet him and be with him in heaven when I died.

I knelt down upon my knees in my bedroom and with my mom watching nearby, I asked Jesus to come into my life. I was a 6 year old asking the Creator of the world and Lord of all we see and do to come into my heart! It is certainly humbling to know that all it takes is the faith of a small child to gain acceptance into the Kingdom of God and eternity.

I grew up having a Father that cared nothing for me or my Mother. He would often leave us at home without food to eat or money to buy food with. My father no longer loved me or my Mother- he loved someone else... Another woman and another family. But while my earthly father no longer cared for me- my Heavenly Father never stopped loving me! Even while picking food out of trash cans so we could eat- Jesus was walking with us through these troubling times. You see- accepting Jesus and being obedient to Him doesn't guarantee a stress free, painless or perfect life. He does, however, promise to stay with us and sometimes even carry us during these times.

It is Jesus who recently changed my heart to seek out my Father and forgive him for what he had done in my life and for the betrayal of my Mother. I came to the realization that if God can send His Son to forgive us and die for our sins- how could I not forgive my own father?

I look back and know as a young boy, that I was incomplete without Jesus  and my emptiness could only be filled if I just accepted His free gift of forgiveness and salvation. Now, Jesus gives me the strength and a boldness to tell others about Him and encourage them to have a life changing experience with Him.

I'm not perfect, but I know that I am forgiven and God believes I am worth it!

And He believes you are worth it too!
The Bible says "For God so loved the world- that He gave His one and only Son. That whosoever believes in Him should not perish- but have eternal life!"
